Our Story with David Attenborough
A 360° journey through people and planet.
About the project
I worked as part of the design and edit team at Luke Halls Studio, in collaboration with Open Planet Studios, on the immersive experience Our Story with David Attenborough.
My contribution focused on the Cave sequence and the Future London shots, exploring scale, atmosphere and spatial storytelling through generative and procedural techniques.

Natural History Museum
The original 50-minute experience surrounds visitors with projections across the walls and floor of the Jerwood Gallery. The architecture becomes part of the journey.
Market Hall
Open Planet Studios and Real Ideas reworked the experience for a fulldome presentation. Launched on 8 May 2026, the 50-minute version wraps the story around the dome rather than a rectangular gallery.
ARTIS Planetarium
Also launched on 8 May 2026, the 50-minute dome adaptation brought Our Story to the Netherlands. ARTIS places the film within a planetarium and a wider setting devoted to the connections between life, Earth and the universe.
Outernet
A separate five-minute version was created for the large screens of the Now Building, bringing a condensed journey through people and planet into a public urban space.
